jenn and her small dog on a hike along a stream

Let me
introduce myself.

Yes. I have a lot of experience as a digital marketer working for some of the biggest brands out there. But above all that, I’m someone who wants to have as much fun as possible while helping small businesses and entrepreneurs get sh*t done.

This is the part where I should say, I’ve developed and executed creative campaigns to drive sales, build and sustain communities, and drive general awareness. Where I can talk about how my strategic plans have impressed Fortune 500 clients for 10 years and counting. I could also go into detail on how some social content I’ve helped lead broke some internal performance records for these companies. And my favorite, how I’ve helped tell interesting small business stories to help brands differentiate themselves from the competition.

And while all that is true and I’d love to talk about it more detail, I want to paint you a bigger picture of who I am as a person. Because at the end of the day, who we are is what makes us stand apart from the competition, and it drives how we do what we do.

Let’s dive in.

Here’s what you can expect when you work with me

  • Ok. I know the description above may not seem like I have a small ego, but “About Me” pages make it hard to sound humble! The truth is, no one’s ideas are perfect 100% of the time, but it’s important to foster an environment where all parties feel comfortable spitballing ideas. Some of the best ideas come from conversations without added pressure. It also means I can take constructive feedback well.

  • I really care about the people and things in my circle. I want the best for them and take pride in trying to provide that to the best of my ability. We’re in this together.

  • I won’t just force ideas and approaches on people if it makes them uncomfortable. I can always try to find a middle ground.

  • Being a good collaborator and listener doesn’t mean I’m going to agree with something I don’t believe in or think won’t work just to cash a check. I want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the right decision for your goals.

  • I like talking to people as people first — and not as corporate robots. I think having some fun while we work is key to making projects run smoothly and (relatively) painlessly.

  • I love laughing and cracking jokes. I think it brings people’s guards down, making room for more interesting ideas to come to light. If we’re not having a little bit of fun, is it really worth it?

  • I try hard not to make work my personality, but I know how important it is to do a good job and be proud of what you accomplish. Being the daughter of an immigrant, I see firsthand everyday what hard work can do. I’ll never underestimate that. Te quiero, mamá.
